Princethorpe's Sixth Formers Helped Us Celebrate British Science Week

13 Mar

We had an all-action assembly on Wednesday 12 March when we welcomed four Princethorpe Sixth Formers to help celebrate British Science Week.

The College’s STEAM Ambassadors joined us to share insights into this year’s BSW theme ‘Change and Adapt’. They demonstrated exciting, explosive experiments, including the 'whoosh bottle' that amazed and impressed us all.

After assembly, pupils in Key Stage 2 took part in practical Physics workshops led by the Sixth Formers, where they made straw rockets and launched them.

Huge thanks to the Head of Physics, Dan Lee, and to Lower Sixth students, Emmi, Alex, Sophie and Isabel - you certainly put on a show!
