U11s Runners Up At Midlands ISA Football Tournament

Right from the first whistle to the last they played fast-paced, physical and skilful football, linking well, passing beautifully and never giving less than 100% effort.  

Competing in a very packed and talented field of 22 schools, Crescent won all nine of their group matches, scoring 38 goals and conceding just eight, finishing in clear first position. The team then continued their superb form into the semi-final, brushing aside the second place team from the other group, Highclare, with a fantastic 3-0 victory. Unfortunately, Crescent were then unable to go the last step, when they were beaten 2-0 in the final by a very strong Crackley side, although they came away with the fantastic consolation of not just silver medals, but qualification for the ISA Nationals at England's elite training facility, St George's Park!
