U10 Girls Victorious In ISA Midlands Football

On Friday 4 October, Crescent School took a team of Year 5 girls to Dixie Grammar to play in the Midlands ISA Football Tournament. In the first round, the girls took part in five quick-fire games but played superbly, winning all five matches comfortably. They went forward to the final where they faced fellow Foundation Prep School, Crackley Hall. That was a far tougher game, but the girls showed determination and a high level of skill and were delighted to claim victory in extra time 1-0. They were awarded the tournament trophy. It was a really fantastic effort from everyone, a huge well done to them all.
